Updates, Adventures, Stories, and... Kansas City?!

So spending countless minutes trying to figure out what to say about my "exciting life" via blogging is not my forte'.. yet! But I'm excited to completely enthrall myself into this new world of blogging and make it another one of my new endeavors!... Heavens to Betsy where to start?! So Grant and I have been married 6 glorious months now (yay!) , and are loving all the new experiences marriage and life are handing us! We thrive on adventure and so far that's exactly what we have been blessed with.. lots of exciting, wonderful adventures! We are now living it up in good ol' Kansas City, Missouri.. how we ended up here, in this fabulous place is all thanks to our great friend Dorfey AKA Chris Doerflein! ... Lets backtrack to December 19, 2009, and look at what has happened since that remarkable day! (I'm just gonna bullet some memorable events that have taken place, in order to save some time!)

• DEC. 09- Honeymooned in San Diego! and had a BlAsT! I almost lost my sexy hubby at the wild animal park... during a BIRD show! and just about died laughing!
• JAN. 10- Had a marvelous Christmas with our Hadden side of the family and a fantastic New Years with the Carlini side!
• Miraculously fit all of out luggage, christmas gifts, wedding gifts, and travel food in the Element and road tripped back to Utah for school!! (we thought we were so loaded down with stuff this time, but didnt even realize what loaded down really was until later when we packed just about everything we owned and cross country road tripped to Missouri for the summer!!)
  
• Moved into our new lil FIRST PLACE TOGETHER (woo hoo) at 1:30 AM the day we got it! (I dont know what we were thinking moving all our stuff in that early.. all i can say is we were stoked to finally have our OWN place! and.. we do crazy things when we get excited, like planning a wedding after knowing each other a day!) so we lived in a cute little(seriously little, like with a half a stove, no outlet in the batroom, no dishwasher, kinda place!) basement apt that we grew to absolutely love and appreciate! Met some super sweet, wicked cool friends we hope to keep for life, next door and in our neighborhood and ward :)
  
• JAN.- PRESENT- Grant went to school while I became the perfect housewife! (LOL totally kidding about that last part!)
• Learned about APX through Chris Doerflein, and got suckered into doing it! and are so grateful we did, even though it meant moving cross country to Missouri! We loaded our element as previously mentioned and had a fun, funny and kind of exhausting first ever cross country road trip to Missouri :) Every aspect of APX has blessed us from needed income to new and wonderful friends! I am loving getting to know all of these fabulously gorgeous inside and out girls and appreciate their love, acceptance, examples, unique quirks and interests, laughter, and spontaneity! Plus getting to hang out with them and their darling kids has kinda given me the fill I needed for my baby hungriness I've been craving!

This is OUR story!

This is our blog! We'll see how well it goes and how often i actually update it because these sort of fun things arent usually my forte'! Where to start.. Grant and I are getting married in 4 weeks and 2 days! I cant even believe how quickly that is coming! yeah! we are ridiculously excited :) Our honeymoon will be in San Diego what a blast! And this will be our first Christmas together who would of thought we would have met each other 3 1/2 months ago and everything would have led to this? Not US! We are totally surprised and thrilled at what hand we have been dealt in life. We met at a YSA conference on August 8th and it was love at first sight! haha well almost! It was crazy that we both felt so close after so little time (one hour) and then both knew we would get married (after about an hour and a half! lol) That night we told our families and things have just gotten well, crazy... crazy amazing! Our life together has been like out of a fairy tale movie haha.. well more like shrek with all the funny things that happen and what not!
So about us, our plans, and families etc. .. Grant is especially excited to be done with this semester of school. He is attending LDSBC (LDS business College) right now and anticipates attending there for a few more semesters, and besides all the busy work and timeconsumingness, (I'm not actually sure if thats a word but I'm gonna use it!), he is really enjoying it! I am just working as a nanny for the adorable Reynolds family and doing hair from my apartment on the side :) things are going really well, besides of course the stressfulness that comes along with planning a wedding, but you just gotta roll with the punches! Honestly I'm not even doing much of the work at all, in fact my sweet wonderful mother is picking up my slack (which is just about EVERYTHING) and really getting things put together! I love her and am so greatful! Grant's mother and sisters and family have been helping out a ton too, and are tackling all the wedding stuff going down in good ol' California. I am so lucky to be joining such a wonderful fun family. Speaking of Grant's family his brother Ben just left a few weeks ago for his mission in Mexico and is doing fabulous and loving the MTC. Well I'll write more later but I gotta hit the road!
